13-Month Maternity Leave Contract

Start Date: August 17th, 2020

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

 

The Logistics Planner position will report to and assist the Operations Manager. This position is accountable for maintaining service excellence with our internal and external customers through inventory management, continuous process improvement and prompt resolution of issues. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and builds partnerships easily. You are extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently. You also thrive in a fast-paced environment and can expertly complete multiple assignments and maneuver changing priorities effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.

 

By Day, YOU will…

 

  • Process customer orders and coordinate with warehouse and carriers for shipping
  • Collaborate with Sales team and Distribution Centers for order inquires
  • Manage all Inventory, from post-production, to execution of transfers, storage, and distribution
  • Prepare and complete documents for cross border customs clearance
  • Compile data for inventory reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Finance department to complete period close tasks

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, ideally within a manufacturing / retail grocery environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies (CBA / USDA / FDA) and food exports is a bonus
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is an asset
