Vancouver, BC – November 18, 2015 – Luvo Inc., a forward-thinking frozen food company that offers chef-created, nutritionist-approved meals made from high quality ingredients, today announced that Chief Executive Officer, Christine Day was named the recipient of two Gold Stevie® Awards, for the categories of “Female Executive of the Year in Canada” and “Innovator of the Year” during the 12th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2015 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories.
In 2014, Christine Day joined Luvo as Chief Executive Officer and has since led the team in their mission to disrupt the frozen food and CPG industry; offering consumers chef-created, nutritionist-approved frozen meals made from high-quality ingredients, in convenient and affordable ways. Day took the reins on setting the strategic direction for all facets of the Company, including marketing, operations, financial performance, and assembled a world-class management team, working together to identify Luvo’s target customer and the brand’s competitive advantage through a focus on nutrition. Day streamlined operations and distribution, provided her vision for the Company’s growth, and helped to double sales since joining in 2014.

More than 1,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
